Our church offers various groups, including one that allows you to be a part of helping our community.
Matthew 25:40 says, "Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me." This verse, part of Matthew 25:31-46, emphasizes the importance of compassion and generosity toward those in need. The "least of these" refers to vulnerable and oppressed individuals, showing them that caring for them is like serving Christ Himself.
We show and share the love of Christ through our actions towards those in need. One of the ministries we support is Cridlin Food Pantry, an organization founded in 1970 when thirteen churches in the Huntington area joined forces as Christian Associates. The organization established the Cridlin Food Pantry to fulfill its primary mission: addressing the issue of hunger in the greater Huntington region.
Today, the Cridlin Food & Clothing Pantry is working to provide relief to those living in Cabell and Wayne counties in West Virginia who are unable (temporarily or chronically) to stretch their resources to meet their nutritional, hygiene, and essential infant needs.
Holy Spirit Orthodox Church also works closely with Cabell County Library's Information and Referral outreach. Their mission is to link people with needs to the appropriate resources to meet their needs. This group works with our local services provided to help those in abusive situations, food insecurities, housing, utilities, and other emergencies.
Compassion ministries are essential to our church's mission of sharing the Gospel and meeting the needs of people. We are committed to making a significant impact in our community.

The Antiochian Men (AMEN) is a dedicated fellowship committed to supporting one another in our journey to become more like Christ. Under the leadership of David Watson, members gather for meetings that foster spiritual growth, brotherhood, and faith-centered discussions.
Ushers serve as stewards of hospitality and order, helping to create a reverent and welcoming atmosphere for all who enter the church.
What Ushers Do:
• Greet parishioners and visitors with warmth and respect.
• Assist with seating and help maintain quiet and focus during services.
• Guide the flow of Communion and liturgical processions.
• Provide service materials such as bulletins or candles.
• Remain attentive to the needs of the faithful throughout the service.
This ministry is open to all who desire to serve with reverence, attentiveness, and humility. Training and guidance will be provided. If you feel called to serve, please connect with Chuck Roberts to learn more.
Your participation will be a blessing to our entire parish family.
